Revelation Bay Productions offers orientation and training to enthusiastic individuals in media production and photoshoot. We have been conducting regular training for students in colleges and providing internship opportunities. If you are exploring opportunities for training and skill development on media and photoshoots, connect with us. We are open to train individuals and organizations. We provide camera's for your practice if you don't have one.
Currently, we are offering workshops and training in all aspects of Film Production, Photography and Video Editing in our studio, located in Asha Township, Dodda Gubbi (Near Kothanur) Bangalore.
Our Curriculum
If you have a desire to learn, we go beyond the curriculum to teach you. During your workshop/training you can ask us anything in the module and we patiently teach till your doubts are clarified - even if that means going an hour extra. In addition to that, you can reach out for help even after your training is over. We are giving an broad overview of what will be covered in each module. Module 1
(Basics of Photography and Film-production)
This is a module you will need to take if you a beginer. Here we go through all aspects of Photography and an introduction to Film-production. You will learn all the technical aspects to handle a camera, and understand Framing, Compostion and the right exposure techniques. A creative approach towards visual story telling through your lens, will be the highlight of this module. You assignment will include a photo essay that communicates something meaningful.
Module 2
(Camera Handling + Lighting + Editing Basics)
If you desire to pursue video productions further to create content for your social media posts, or make videos for a living, then this is for you. Here you will learn all about camera movements, camera angles, shot types, mis-en-scene, and the three act structure to tell a story. You will also be introduced to three point lighting for studio productions and learn the basics of video editing. You assignment will include shooting and editing using a single camera for your social media post or work on a live project.
Module 3
(Advanced Editing Skills )
This is where you will truly begin to enjoy the art of editing a film. Editing is the key to make your film stand out. Editing brings life to your film. Here you will learn several advanced concepts of editing. You will be working on real footages of a short film / music video or a creative video that exposes and pushes you to understand editing in detail and use it as a tool to communicate artistically. Your assignment will include editing a scene and a sequence.
Module 4
(Advanced Production Skills)
Here you will learn all the stages of a film production - from creating an Idea to shooting and editing. You will learn the process of it. In this module you will learn the key concepts practically on continuity, Mis-en-scene, Match cut, shot variation etc... You will also learn pre-production skills and live production skills. In this module you will make your own short film / music video or any creative work that will help you to understand filmmaking and be confident to make your next film on your own.
